Arts Integrated Programs for schools that support curriculum & enhance learning by teaching history through music. Recognizing the cultural significance & relevance of the spiritual tradition while exploring issues of freedom & equality. Dissecting the different types of spirituals & demonstrating how from spirituals, contemporary music styles such as Blues, Country, Jazz, R&B were developed & influence American culture. Suggested Grades: 3 - 5
